Toyota of Stamford once again has teamed up with Family Centers for a great cause. Toyota of Stamford's intrepid Sales Manager Brandon Campbell will be participating in the 2012 Polar Bear Plunge. Stripping down and jumping into Long Island Sound in the middle of winter to help families in need.

Toyota of Stamford along with Casey's Tavern will host a fundraiser on February 18 starting at 7:30 pm. We will be offering $25 wrist bands for bottomless cups of Miller Lite draft. All money collected for the wrist bands will be donated to the Polar Bear Plunge charity.

The event will be held on Sunday, February 26 at the waterfront offices of Geneve Corporation located at 96 Cummings Point Road in Stamford. The Plunge takes place at 10 a.m.

A $25 registration fee includes entry to the Polar Bear Plunge, a limited edition event t-shirt, access to warming tents and onsite food. Participants are also encouraged to ask friends and family to sponsor their Plunges. Individual sponsorships can be made below. In addition, the event will be emceed by WABC-TV Meteorologist Bill Evans. A Post-Plunge Party will also be held at Tiernan's Bar and Restaurant in Stamford beginning at 1 p.m.

All proceeds benefit Family Centers' Bright Beginnings programs, which provide education, health and counseling services to thousands of Fairfield County children and families
