Dealer Notes

The 2019 Toyota Sienna is the perfect choice for families and fun. You’ll always look good on the go with the unmistakable upper and lower grille openings and expanded fog light housing and 19-inch, 6-spoke gunmetal-finish alloy wheels. A new take on Swagger Wagon, the Sienna’s spacious dash is loaded with tech, has a new modern design and comes complete with high-end accents. The color screen display and driver-centric console make driving a breeze, literally, with three separate climate control zones. There’s never a bad seat in the house with an available dual-moonroof, and available dual power sliding side doors make it easy for the whole family to get in and out than ever before with remote keyless entry or available smart key fob. In one motion, the third-row folds into a cargo-storage area, leaving you with a flat space. The entertainment will never stop with the available dual-view Blu-ray entertainment center, which includes a 16.4-inch color display, two 120V AC power outlets, a remote and 2 wireless headphones. Sometimes we need to go places when conditions are far from ideal, which is where the available all-wheel drive comes in, transmitting the right amount to torque to the front and rear wheels. The Sienna puts some muscle behind the swagger with 296hp and a 3.5-liter V6 direct-injection engine and 8-speed automatic transmission. The Sienna offers a range of convenient features, including a high-resolution, 7-inch touch-screen display, Entune 3.0 app access, Apple CarPlay compatibility, a built-in microphone to communicate with your backseat passengers, available Wi-Fi Connect and 5 USB ports. You’ll also find a comprehensive suite of safety features such as a bird’s eye view camera and backup camera.

  • Be aware of the power sliding doors

By Toyota owner on Wednesday, June 05, 2019

Especially 2015 models have many problems with power sliding doors. They do recall , however there is no evidence of them have a contingent plan of fixing the problem. After calling the recall and dealer bring in the minivan , they can’t fix the problem in contrary they cause more complication and don’t warranty the performed work on trying to fix the problem. I also have heard they have same problem with other later models. Dealer don’t help , actually they complicate the recall work and warranty of the work performed, and Toyota consumer relations center USA don’t care at all. Now , power sliding doors are one of the reason for families with infant /children . To disregard on of the main reasons of purchasing this vehicle by the dealership and Toyota itself, it makes you look other strong competitors, Honda , even Kia has better service. Make sure you read about the problems they have with sliding doors before purchasing Toyota Sienna...there is other reliable companies out there. Check for your self.
  • NEVER buying another Toyota

Bought 2019 Sienna XLE in December. This was my third Sienna in a row, and my 10th Toyota. I can’t drive ANYWHERE without dirt, or snow packing into wheels. The car has been in the shop for severe vibrations 7 times in 3 months. We got 1” of snow and I drove on plowed roads to store (10 miles) and couldn’t drive it back home because the vibrations were so severe a soda was shook out of the cup holder (I have a video). Toyota’s response “this isn’t a vehicle issue, you need to pressure wash your wheels once or twice a week”. I drove a different Sienna on exact roads, in exact conditions with ZERO issues but can’t go a week without driving issues with the new one. I even drove a Sienna through Yukon trail which included over 300 miles of dirt highway, no issues. Had to park in a dirt lot at an arena, just that caused vibrations on way home. Going to trade it in after 4 months and take the Toyota punch to the face with loss of value, NEVER again Toyota!!
  • Two bad transmissions under 80,000 miles.

First transmission bad at 50,000 miles. The replacement trans failed two years later at 80,000 miles. The replacement only had a 1 yr warranty. Reoccurring trend of drivetrain failures. 2012 Sienna AWD
