Both of these pickup trucks are impressive in their own right. Performance-wise, they are almost evenly matched, as both can be outfitted with V6 engines. Despite this, the Ford F-150 has a number of things working against it. Many of the safety options cost extra, and the diesel doesn't tow as much as you'd expect in a truck of this caliber.
